Create a Cookbook for Family Fun

Create a Cookbook for Family Fun

With the hustle and bustle of our daily lives now on pause, who knew that Moms and Dads would have so much time to spend with their little ones, almost running out of ideas to keep them occupied during Lockdown!

One the many ways of keeping your little ones entertained and productive is by cooking or baking together. Participating in activities such as cooking together helps with bonding and collaborating as a family. Having a cookbook at home is a great way of trying new recipes for the family to participate in and enjoy.

Another advantage of having a cookbook at home is not having to run out of ideas for what to cook. With the Lock down, more people are at home, all the time, which means more eating, all-the-time. Wouldn’t it be amazing if we all had a cookbook that has 21 meal ideas for the 21 days Lockdown?

If you’ve got family age old recipes that make your meals a hit at home and with your friends, maybe it is time for you to share the love of cooking with the rest of the world. So why don’t you use this free time to create your first or next cookbook

Creating a cookbook with your family recipes can be a fun and creative process. Think about the characters in your family, their favourite meals. Wouldn’t it be amazing to co-write the book with your son or daughter or your Mom and Dad, sharing each family member’s favourite recipe and some fun stories behind it? The cookbook can even feature images of the family members making some of the meals in the cookbook together. Or it could feature some memories that formed part of making the meals in the cookbook.

Remember that a lot of the habits formed during this lockdown period are going to stay with us for a long time. Since people have started exercising together at home, playing family games, writing journals and cooking together, they will continue to do so into the future. So if you create yourbooknow, you can assume that post this period, people will still use it to continue these newly found family traditions.

Although cooking will always involve adult participation, you can decide to create child friendly or family friendly recipes. You can also decide to target your meals towards couples, who are looking for ideas for fine dining meals during lockdown.

We know that restaurants will be closed for a while, but date night doesn’t have to be on hold. You can create meal ideas for that perfect indoor picnic or candle lit dinner in the patio, with the bells and whistles to go along with it.

South African citizens and the world is going through a tough time, but while staying safe at home, we can use this time to be as productive as possible, as connected as possible and as happy as possible. So if writing that cookbook is something you have always wanted to do, do it now and let Impress Printers help you realise that dream of printing your first or next book
